Picea pungens Kaibab

Picea pungens Kaibab, or Blue Spruce, is a stately and elegant variety of Colorado Spruce, admired for its dense, conical shape and striking green-grey to blue needles. Like all spruces, the mature foliage is firm and slightly prickly to the touch, adding texture and structure to the garden. This tall, ornamental conifer makes a stunning feature or specimen tree, and can also be planted in groups along fence lines for dramatic effect. The distinctive colour and graceful form of Kaibab bring contrast and year-round interest to any landscape.
