Taller than most penstemons, award-winning Alice Hindley is a bushy semi-evergreen perennial boasting incredibly beautiful, lavender-mauve trumpet flowers with pale throats. The blooms rise elegantly above the foliage of large mid-green leaves and will attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Alice Hindley adds attractive vertical interest with its flower stems as well as being an excellent cut flower. Deadhead after flowering to maintain vigour and cut back to the base in early spring to encourage new growth. Tip prune in the growing season to keep nice and bushy.
