Orthrosanthus multiflorus Blue Hue, commonly known as Morning Flag or Morning Iris, is an attractive Australian native perennial with strap-like leaves and pretty, blue, open-faced flowers with prominent golden stamens from late spring to summer. Great for borders, cottage themes, coastal gardens and as a potted feature. Mulch after planting and annually to keep weeds at bay. Feed with native fertiliser during spring and summer.
Soil: Prefers free draining sandy soil - neutral to alkaline.
Conditions: Prefers semi-shade but will tolerate full sun. Drought, light frost and coastal tolerant.
