Maireana oppositfolia Smokey is a Western Australian native shrub with an upright habit with very tight narrow silvery-grey foliage. The strange and intriguing habit of this silver foliaged beauty is unique - its thick vertical branches appear to be blowing in the breeze although it is quite a stiff shrub. Smokey produces lovely small delicate yellow flowers all year round. It is extremely drought resistant as it comes from Western Australia, making it a lover of hot dry summers.
