Goldie is a dense-growing Leucospermum. The protea has soft mid-green foliage and produces an abundance of glorious, bright sunny-yellow pincushion flowers throughout spring and summer. The Protea family are low maintenance and equally at home in display pots, garden beds, as a feature plant, mass planting or borders/hedges.
Soil: Well-drained soil. If you have clay soils, use mounds to plant to facilitate drainage. Be sure to use a native soil mix when planting - exotic potting mixes or exotic fertilisers will kill them.
Conditions: Full sun. Very hardy - coast and drought-tolerant, and tolerates light frost (to -5C).
