Commonly called the Italian Pencil Pine, Cupressus sempervirens glauca is a low-maintenance tree with a natural columnar habit. It produces aromatic foliage with dark blue-green colouring. It requires little to no pruning to maintain its naturally tidy upright shape. When planted in a row, it is a tree that adds a strong architectural element to the garden.
