The Argyle Apple or Silver Dollar tree is a small to medium-sized tree which has round, fragrant silver-blue foliage hence the name. The bark is reddish brown on smaller stems and becomes grey and stringy on the trunk as the tree matures. This species can be used as a feature tree and can be pruned into a hedge or used in floral arrangements. Left unpruned, it is a lovely low-maintenance tree.
