The mealy stringy bark is a medium gum (10m) that makes a brilliant screening tree. It is native to south east Australia. The tree has beautiful long slightly silver foliage (also known as the 'Silver leafed stringy bark;) and a dense canopy. Creamy white blossoms come out in Autumn providing food for bees, followed by gumnuts.
Juvenile tree have round leaves which turn to elongated mature leaves as it ages.
This is a very adaptable and hardy tree.
