Cornus alba sibirica Red Stemmed Dogwood

Known for its brilliant, bright red winter stems, Cornus alba sibirica, or Red Stemmed Dogwood, is a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub of ornamental value to the winter garden. In autumn, the leaves turn warm shades of red and orange before falling, revealing the outstanding red stems. Following in spring and early summer, the branches have clusters of delicate white blooms, followed by compact white ornamental berries. Magnificent in pots, clumps or as a specimen shrub.

Soil: Prefers humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Frost and drought hardy.
