Clethra arborea or Lily of the Valley tree is an attractive, dense, evergreen tree with lustrous glossy, elliptical foliage that is coppery when young. The attractive foliage provides a perfect backdrop for the racemes of bell-shaped, waxy, white flowers, which are held aloft on stalks. When in full bloom, Lily of the Valley makes a spectacular sight.
