The Emperor Mandarin is an attractive evergreen tree with glossy green leaves and small, fragrant, white flowers. It produces medium-round fruit with deep orange skin and few seeds. The flesh is juicy, sweet and excellent in flavour. The fruit has large, loose skin which forms separate from the flesh, making this variety easy to peel. The fruit ripens from April to late October.
