Lemon Meyer is a compact evergreen fruit tree. Due to the Lemon Meyer being a hybrid between an orange and a lemon, the fruit has lower acidity and sourness than the traditional lemon. The foliage is a lovely rich green, with petite white fragrant blooms that appear in autumn. Following the flowers, small-medium golden-orange fruits appear from autumn to spring. The fruit has a thin skin and is very juicy, ideal for drinks or making marmalades. Low water requirements through winter, however, keep the tree well-watered throughout summer.
