Chamelaucium uncinatum Pink, or commonly know as Geraldtown Wax, is a fast-growing native shrub with masses of fine needle-like leaves on branching stems. An abundance of bright pink, waxy flowers occur in loose elegant sprays during spring and summer. An excellent addition to native gardens and is a fantastic cut flower specimen for indoor decorations. Use Geraldtown Wax as a feature plant in the garden, as a low hedge or grow in containers. When in flower this is a great plant for attracting birds, butterflies and bees to the garden. After flowering prune appropriately to maintain shape. Apply a slow-release native fertiliser during spring.
