This is a newly released cultivar of the popular 'Hinoke Cypress'.
It is a vigorous, conical-shaped conifer growing to about 3m in height. The slightly pendulous sprays of scale-like leaves and broad spreading branches give the tree a soft fullness from top to bottom. The lovely golden foliage changes to a stunning golden-orange colour in winter. It responds very well to being pruned.
Soil: Humus-rich, well-drained fertile soil. Keep roots cool with plenty of mulch.
