Western Glory callistemon produces an abundance of nectar-rich flowers of rose-pink tinted with a hint of lilac. The glorious bottlebrush flowers are produced in abundance in late spring to summer, with spot flowering in autumn, and are attractive to nectar-feeding birds and insects. Prune after flowering to promote strong new growth. Western Glory is an excellent flowering large shrub, useful for informal hedging and screening.
