Callistemon viminalis Little Silver PBR is a compact, fine-leaved native shrub with striking silver-grey foliage and a tidy, naturally rounded habit. Its unique foliage colour provides excellent contrast year-round, especially when paired with flowering or darker green plants. Soft red bottlebrush flowers appear in spring and summer, adding a splash of seasonal colour and attracting nectar-feeding birds and insects. Ideal for creating a low hedge, for rockeries and large tubs and as a specimen plant. Prune tips while young to encourage dense growth and fertilise with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring.
Soil: Very hardy and forgiving in all types of soil. Will tolerate waterlogged sites.
Conditions: Prefers full sun but will tolerate dappled shade. Suited to most Australian climates, including coastal and frost-prone areas. Drought tolerant once established.
Size: Height 1-1.20m x width 1-1.20m
