Buckinghamia celsissima, or the Ivory Curl Tree, is an ornamental native tree with dark glossy leaves and an abundance of racemes of creamy white, sweetly scented saccate flowers clustered at the ends of the branches appearing in autumn. It makes a stunning feature plant, suited to street planting and large gardens. Prune as desired to promote dense growth and flowering. Fertilise with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring.
