Banksia robur, the swamp banksia, is a dramatic-looking banksia with bright felty russet new growth, big green leaves, metallic green buds, and impressive gold-tan flower spikes. The hardy native looks good in grouped plantings, wildlife gardens, and along riverbanks. Seed pods are decorative as are the flowers. Prune as required to maintain compact growth. Feed with a slow-release native fertiliser during spring
