Banksia prionotes dwarf is an outstanding ornamental species that is ideal for cut flower production due to its brightly coloured flowers. Acorn-like flowers put on a conspicuous show with their spectacular large towers of white woolly buds which turn shades of orange through autumn and winter. As with all banksia, these beautiful flowers are an important food source for birds and insects. Trim to shape if required and feed with a specialised native plant fertiliser.
