Mellow Yellow Banksia is a much-loved native bush prized for its striking stretched oval foliage splayed on straight, upright woody stems. The yellow banksia flowers appear from late summer to early spring and are excellent for attracting birds and the dense layering makes it a wildlife habitat plant. It can be pruned to keep it more compact and manageable in a smaller garden. Mellow Yellow are popular as cut flowers and long-lasting in floral arrangements.
