Banksia ericifolia is a versatile native adaptable to most Australian climates. Classic, large orange flower heads decorate this hardy bush, surrounded by fine,needle-like foliage. Banksia ericifolia is fast growing and thus ideal as a screening plant. It is a great bird-attracting shrub and responds well to pruning. Like all banksias, it is phosphorus sensitive, so a good native fertiliser is best when it comes to feeding time.
