Banksia dryandroides is a dense ornamental banksia grown mainly for its deeply serrated foliage, with a dark green upper and white underside. The short cylindrical yellow-orange flower spikes are produced from summer through to winter. The banksia makes an excellent bird refuge and is a popular choice as a low hedge or screen and windbreak.
