Unit price perThe Tahitian Lime is a popular small-spreading, evergreen tree with glossy leaves, some thorns, and fragrant creamy-white blossoms. The blossoms are followed by medium-sized, round green fruit with a thin skin and juicy, almost seedless acidic flesh. Fruit production is at its peak in late autumn to early winter in cooler climates. Ideal as a feature tree in a pot for courtyards or decks, or in smaller, Mediterranean-style gardens.
Soil: Soil needs to be well-watered, well-drained, and slightly acidic with no root competition. After planting your tree into the ground, we recommend reducing the foliage by a third.
Conditions: Sunny position (6-8 direct sunlight). Cold tolerant. Protect from strong winds, especially during flowering or while the fruit is forming.
Size: Height 6m x width 2-4m
