A superb form of Japanese Holly with a columnar habit, Fastigata Green Pillar, or Sky Pencil, is a beautiful narrow evergreen shrub. Foliage is a glossy, deep emerald colour, and small white flowers appear in late summer turning to little black fruits. The tall upright shrub is an ideal accent plant when clipped to shape or left to grow naturally and is a wonderful option for tight areas or pathways along fence boundaries.
