Eremophila Red Desert is a very hardy, small spreading shrub native to the open woodlands of Western Australia. It features attractive grey-silver foliage and produces magnificent red to deep orange, pink-tinged tubular flowers over an impressively long flowering season from April through to November. These vibrant blooms are highly attractive to honeyeaters, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens. Versatile and reliable, Eremophila Red Desert is well suited to groundcover plantings, low borders, or as a low flowering hedge. It tolerates tough conditions and can be lightly trimmed or hedged to maintain a compact shape and desired height. Widely used in landscaping across Australia, this resilient native provides long-lasting colour and structure with minimal maintenance.
