The dwarf Lemonade Tree is a large evergreen shrub to small tree. It has glossy green dense foliage, perfumed white flowers in winter, followed by glossy yellow fruit. The delicious, sweet, juicy fruit tastes like lemonade and can be eaten straight off the tree. The tree often has thorns and after 3 years, bears several heavy crops in winter and spring. Dwarf citrus have been grown as ornamental plants as well as for their fruit.
