A delightful compact form of Polygala, Dazzler displays dark green foliage with soft oval leaves and produces attractive purple pea flowers for most of the year. Sometimes known as Dwarf Sweet Pea Shrub, Dazzler is low maintenance and quite hardy. It is a very versatile garden plant - plant it as a small hedge, or create a decorative pot for the verandah. Prune in early spring to encourage bushiness and flowering and fertilise with a long-term slow-release fertiliser.

Pittosporum eugeniodies, or Lemonwood, is a beautiful, shrub-like evergreen tree native to New Zealand. Cream-coloured, honey-scented flowers appear in spring and summer, drawing the bees and birds to the garden. The long, light green glossy leaves have a lemon scent when crushed. It is an attractive, quick-growing shelter, revegetation or hedging tree.

Leptospermum liversidgei, commonly known as Liversidge's Tea Tree, is a compact, evergreen shrub native to Australia, known for its stunning white or pale pink flowers that bloom in spring and summer. This hardy shrub features aromatic, narrow leaves and is ideal for creating a low hedge or adding texture to a garden. Leptospermum liversidgei thrives in full sun and well-drained, slightly acidic soils, and is drought-tolerant once established. It attracts bees and other pollinators, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens. With its dense foliage and beautiful floral display, it provides year-round interest and requires minimal maintenance.

Silver Cloud callistemon is a small, dense shrub with striking silver-grey foliage and plum-coloured new growth. Mary MacKillop callistemon is a compact, lightly weeping medium shrub with glossy leaves and lettuce green new growth. The native shrub produces vivid scarlet brushes in spring and summer with dense, bright green foliage. Plant a dense plantation along a boundary to give a brilliant flowering display over many months and supply a constant flush of nectar for honeyeaters.

Adenanthos cunninghamii Lighthouse is an upright, pillar-like shrub producing small, unusual red jug-shaped flowers at the ends of branches during spring.
