Unit price perNaturally upright in growth habit, Juniperus scopulorum Blue Arrow is a conifer that is an alternative to the common pencil pine. A hardier option than the Italian Cypress, Blue Arrow has rope-like ascending foliage that is coloured a striking blue-grey. It is a great plant for confined spaces where you wish to add some height, and with such good foliage year round it can also be used as a structural plant. Try it either side of a pathway, entrance or as a focal point in the garden. It is recommended to mulch well to help retain moisture in summer.
Soil: Well-drained soil. Prepare the soil well by digging in aged compost and some cow manure.
Conditions: Full sun. Drought, frost, wind and coastal hardy.
