Hydrangea paniculata Kyushu is a stunning deciduous shrub that produces a profusion of large white panicles that gracefully fade to a dusty pink hue. The panicles, although not overly large, are abundant, with individual panicles reaching up to 20cm in length. The lush, bright-green foliage undergoes a transformation, showcasing beautiful autumn colours as the season progresses. Kyushu is a great variety for adding to a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, growing as an informal hedge, including in a white or cottage garden, or for planting around an outdoor living area.
