An attractive, evergreen climber Hardenbergia violacea Royal Flush brings colour to the garden for months. Flowers emerge in spring and grow in clusters of pea-shaped blooms, with colours ranging from white to a deep blue-purple. During the warmer months, the dark green foliage is a nice contrast in the garden. Like many evergreen climbers, it tends to run up a wall or fence and ball at the top and be leggy below. For compact growth and an even fence coverage, prune regularly after flowering.
