A new and attractive Grevillea cultivar, Red Coral is prostrate in habit, and was bred by Kings Park and Botanic Gardens. The bright red toothbrush flowers contrast beautifully with the grey-green ferny foliage and pale stems and buds. The naturally dense ground covering habit can be further encouraged with tip pruning after flowering to create a weed-deterring mat. The blooms will attract nectar-loving birds and insects from miles around. Ideal in waterwise gardens as well as native areas, rockeries, or mass planted in streetscapes or verges. Also well suited for borders, embankments, and any place you need a good performing, low-growing, spreading plant.
