Chrysocephalum baxteri, or Fringed Everlasting, is a low-growing perennial plant that produces a cluster of bright white everlasting daisy flowers with golden yellow centres from spring to autumn. The narrow foliage is a silvery green which contrasts beautifully with the flowers and is attractive in its own right. Great for massed drift plantings, dotted amongst other plants, as a border, and can also be grown in containers. The papery blooms can be dried and will keep their colour for many years, and can be used fresh for floral work. A tidy-up of the foliage and finished flowers is all the attention this plant needs, making it suitable for low-maintenance gardens.
