A Japanese, fast-growing, deciduous, climbing plant, Kiwiberry is very hardy and produces smooth hairless grape-sized fruit with the same delicious taste of the kiwi fruit. This super fruit is full of antioxidants, and contains over 20 essential nutrients and a range of vitamins. It is also one of the richest sources of vitamin C. This self-fertile fruit will start to fruit in the first or second growing season. The fruit needs to be soft to the touch for best flavour and enjoyment. If they are too firm they will tend to be tart and lack the sweet guava flavours. Kiwiberry is a vine that can be grown on a trellis, fence or pergola.
