These evergreen magnolias are perfect on their own as feature trees in the garden but also make great flowering screens or tall hedges. Plant them at 1 per metre for a screen or hedge. Prune to size after flowering in spring.
Soil: Prefers a moist but well-drained, fertile soil that is slightly acidic.
Conditions: A warm sunny aspect is best, though they will tolerate partial shade. Coastal, frost and drought tolerant.
