Lagerstroemia Canopy™

Lagerstroemia Canopy™ is a compact and colourful deciduous shrub specially bred by Ozbreed for Australian gardens. The crepe myrtle's luscious wine-dark foliage provides a striking contrast to the burgundy-pink flowers that appear throughout summer. Canopy™ has a wide, spreading habit and reaches above head height, making it excellent for privacy hedging or as a small feature tree. The interplay of light brings out beautiful tones in the leaves and blooms as the sun shines through. Prune in autumn following leaf drop to encourage prolific summer flowering and a dense growth habit, or deadhead after the first flush to maintain an elegant shape and encourage repeat blooming. Apply a slow-release fertiliser twice yearly for best results
