Isopogon anemonifolius Sunshine is a compact upright shrub with intricate lobed foliage. Buds which develop across summer open as bright yellow mini-protea flowers, held above the deeply-divided, leathery foliage throughout winter and spring, to the delight of small honeyeaters and scrub wrens. The native makes a showy display when grouped in small garden beds and rockeries, or mass-plant in containers to decorate a sunny courtyard. Mulch well with leaf matter or compost.
Prune back hard occasionally to promote fresh new growth.
Soil: Well-drained, light, slightly acid soil.
Conditions: Full sun. It will tolerate a light frost, short periods of drought and salty winds.
Size: Height 0.60-1m x width 0.60-1m
