Eremophila glabra prostrate Blue Horizon™ is a native low-growing groundcover with tidy blue-silver grey foliage and yellow pops of colour from the flowers in winter. The new Ozbreed cultivar hugs the ground, and is denser than the usual species form, giving a fuller coverage per plant, and tidier appearance compared to other varieties.Blue Horizon is perfect for native gardens, wildlife gardens, winter gardens, as a feature groundcover or as a weed suppressant. Prune in spring to early summer at the start of the growing season for best results. Follow with an application of a native slow release fertiliser.
Soil: Prefers light, sandy free-draining soil, but can handle heavier soils in drier climates.
Conditions: Plant in full sun to light shade. Coastal and frost tolerant. Tolerates drought once established. Grows best in regions with lower humidity.
