Coastal Beacons is a bushy shrub with dense foliage that produces a mass of striking, cylindrical, candle-like flower heads which appear above the foliage from late autumn through to spring. Coastal Beacons is an excellent plant for creating contrasting textures within the landscape, and this plant can be used as a feature plant or for border planting in coastal gardens. Mix with other Banksia integrifolia forms such as Banksia Sentinel and Rollercoaster to create levels within the landscape.
Soil: It is adaptable to most well-drained soils
Conditions: Grows well in both shade and full sun. Once this plant is established it will tolerate dry and light frost conditions, but over long periods of dry will require watering.
