Acacia podalyriifolia known as Queensland Silver Wattle, or Mount Morgan Wattle, is a beautiful small tree or shrub that grows easily in most Australian regions, and flowers prolifically in winter with spectacular sweet-smelling yellow flowers. Even when not in flower the silvery blue colour of the foliage creates an incandescent display that stands out against green backdrops. Perfect for any native garden design, this acacia responds well to pruning after flowering and minimises seed spread as they can self-seed quite easily. This is truly one of the most beautiful acacias available.

Soil: Prefers native free-draining soil but is so hardy it will thrive in any soil.
Conditions: Full sun to partial shade. Coastal, drought, frost and pollution tolerant
Size: Height 6m x Width 6m at full capacity but can be pruned to create a smaller more contained shrub.
